Ce livre est une véritable mine d'informations. On y apprend énormément de petits trucs vraiment bien trouvés comme le Contraste Forcé (technique qui permet de mettre les contrastes en avant en apprêtant le modèle en noir et de pulvériser les couleurs subséquentes en laissant transparaître l'apprêt), la technique de la laque, la poussière, la boue etc. Ne vous fiez pas à la simplicité des méthodes employées, car l'univers du Braille Scale demande une attention particulière selon l'auteur. Les techniques que nous connaissons pour des échelles supérieures vous demanderont cette-fois une autre manière de voir, d'étudier votre projet (mais vous le faites déjà, non?) !
This book is a really goldmine. You will learn a lot of many tricks really useful like Forced Contrast (a technique that allows you to emphasize contrasts by primering the model in black and airbrushing the subsequent colors letting the primer show through), the hairspray technique, dust, mud etc. Don't think it's too easy, for the universe of Braille Scale asks for a particular attention accordingto the author. The techniques that we know for greater scales will ask another point of view, meaning really studying your project (but I'm sure you already do this!)
Le livre commence donc par ces aspects tehniques élaborés et exhaustifs. Sven-Åke prend le temps d'expliciter chaque étape afin que le lecteur puisse apprécier et comprendre ses techniques.
Puis, l'auteur nous présente 5 modèles avec une explication des techniques employées.
The book starts with these elaborated and exhaustive technical aspects. Sven-Åke takes time to explain each step so that the reader can really appreciate and understand these techniques. Then, the author presents 5 finished models with a notice on the used techniques.
Cet ouvrage est donc pour moi, un livre qu'il faut avoir. Facile à lire, concis et bien réalisé, il permet de vraiment d'améliorer sa technique du 1:72.

This work, is for me, a must-have book. Easy to read, concise and really well made, it really allows you to get better at 1:72.
