BT-7 (Part 4)

Bonjour,

Hi,

I'm going on with the BT-7 now (part 3 is here)
I added some chipping to break the symmetry of the model. You'll see this on the pictures.

Then I worked the streaking effects with the amazing Rust Streaks, Streaking Grime and Light Rust Wash from AK-Interactive.

I also painted some areas with dark blue oil paint, because some places were to bright.

Then rust was added on the exhaust pipes thanks to the Dust and Rust set from Lifecolor.

Today, I dealt with pigments. To me, it is always a great source of anxiety. I find it very hard to work with pigments, but as my diorama will take place in an urban area, I decided to be light-handed with dust.
I first put the pigments from AK-Interactive (and CMK which I don't recommand, for they're not really soluble). Then I used White Spirit to blend them all. And finally, once dry, I used my brush to soften some places. Finally, I used Pigment Fixer from AK-Interactive to set them. I'm quite glad of the result, but I have to train more and more.
